DAY 2 DEALS:

Lightning Deals – HOT!

These sales are subject to sell-out or expire at any time. You must act fast! I will update the listings if they are no longer available.

GERMINATION STATION:

I have 3 or 4 of these heat mats for seed starting. They allow me to start seeds early indoors with high germination rates before moving them outside. This set comes with a seed-starting dome as well! You can opt for the 1 or 2 pack. And when you aren’y using them for seeds you can use them to keep your kombucha brew warm!

FOOD DEHYDRATOR:

Although they are bulky, dehydrators are pretty awesome. You can dry fresh food for snacks like jerky or fruit, to rehydrate later, to grind into spices and powders, make yogurt, etc. A great homesteading tool if you are planning on preserving your own food. I don’t have experience with this brand, but the reviews are great and it looks high quality!

COWBOY COOKBOOK:

Any cookbook that includes a recipe for frito pie is a winner in my world. Nuff said.

LODGE BRAND DUTCH OVEN:

I have an enameled cast-iron dutch oven for baking sourdough bread in the oven. It’s my favorite way to get a good crust on the bread. It’s also great for cooking soups and stews!

CUISINART FOOD PROCESSOR: SOLD OUT

A super versatile tool for homestead kitchens. I use mine to grind spices + powders, make mayonnaise, and of course crusts for baked goods like pies and bars. This deal is a STEAL.

FOODSAVER VACUUM SEALER:

We love our Foodsaver! I buy meat in bulk to save money, then freeze smaller portions to use throughout the month.

FURMINATOR NAIL GRINDER (lightning deal is over, but still available):

I love Furminator products, and nothing is more annoying than trying to pin your dog down and trim nails. Trust me, I did this the other day. Not fun. This is an awesome lightning deal!

FERMENTATION KIT: SOLD OUT

I’ve been wanting to try this for so long! There is a lightning deal on the kit which includes equipment for your mason jars and a recipe book!

Home/Kitchen:

FIRE EXTINGUISHER:

This is one of those weird items you might not think to buy ever, but you never know when a mishap in the kitchen turns bad. Especially for homesteaders and farmers who might be doing burn piles, or playing with electricity, or doing a number of other non-normal dangerous activities we find ourselves tackling.

FOOD SAVER ROLLS: SOLD OUT (But there is still a waitlist!)

HURRY! This one is a lightning deal. I love my Foodsaver! I usually do a Costco run at the beginning of each month to stock up on meat, and I’ll use my Foodsaver to package the meat into smaller portions to freeze in our chest freezer. Nothing is a bigger bummer than running out of rolls, so stock up!

NON-STICK PANS:

These are my FAVORITE non-stick pans. I’ve had mine for over a year and it is still as non-stick as the day I got it.

Garden/Outdoor:

EXTENSION CORD:

Just one of those useful items you always seem to need but never have. One is in use, one is broken, one you can’t find…. And this one is super long! 120 feet!

ZIP TIES:

I feel like zip-ties are one of those things you wouldn’t go out of your way to order, but they are super useful in the garden, fixing fencing, organizing cords, etc. Might as well get a deal while you can, right??

CROCS:

Crocs… love ’em or hate ’em. They are a great shoe to wear in the garden or around the property when I don’t feel like putting on boots. I wear them when I’m kayaking too. Just hose them off when they get dirty and they’re ready to go again. I’m a proud Crocs supporter.

NON-KINK HOSE:

Like I said yesterday, We go through a lot of hoses. This one would be better for heavy-duty use as opposed to the one I posted for Day 1 deals. At 100 feet, it will get the job done.

FOLDING SAW:

I use this folding saw for pruning branches that are too big for shears but too small for the chainsaw. It’s surprisingly sharp and works wonders for landscaping projects.

ANIMALS:

NEST EGGS:

Help your new laying hens figure out exactly where to lay with some wooden nest eggs! The decoys encourage your ladies to lay where they should, and not in some brush where you’ll never ever find them.

EPSOM SALT:

Besides being a great addition to a warm bath, for us farm people epsom salt is also great for soaking animal injuries, such as bumblefoot.

SHOCK COLLARS:

I really hated the idea of having to use a shock collar on our dogs, until I tried it. When used properly, it can be a livesaving tool in my opinion. For example, showing Ellie that it’s not OK to chase a car down the driveway into the highway. This bundle is great for a household of 2 dogs. You can use one remote to quickly switch over to the second dog and deliver a shock. Also great for showing a dog that when they bite a chicken, they get an unpleasant shock to their neck!

Other:

PORTABLE BATTERY:

I use my rechargeable iPhone battery ALL THE TIME. Since I’m outside most of the day, I hate having to leave my phone inside to charge, especially if I want to listen to music or a podcast while I’m working in the garden or moving birds around.

I will continue to add deals throughout the day as I find them! Thanks for looking!
