We offer…
Heritage breeds that are older varieties of livestock, bred before commercial varieties took over the market. They have been selectively bred to their environments over long periods of time which makes them well adapted, have natural resistance to the parasites they would normally encounter, and a innate ability to forage and use their surroundings.
We believe that these heritage breeds survive better, are hardier & healthier, and make for a more sustainable farming system. The animals can breed naturally, unlike a lot of commercial livestock breeds which must be artificially inseminated, so we can rely on them to breed and raise young without much intervention.
